In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a method of assisted reproductive technology that involves combining an egg and sperm in our state-of-the-art lab. Once the embryo has developed, it is then transferred to the mother or surrogate's uterus to continue the pregnancy. 

Egg freezing is performed for a variety of reasons. Patients undergoing IVF may choose to freeze unused eggs for later use. It can also be beneficial for patients undergoing medical treatments that may cause infertility, or for patients with a family history of early menopause. After egg retrieval, the eggs are frozen and stored in our lab until needed. 

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a new but promising approach to enhancing fertility. This procedure involves injecting a patient's own platelets into areas of the body to improve ovarian function, thicken endometrial lining, and improve endometrial receptivity.

Intrauterine insemination (IUI), also known as artificial insemination, is a process in which sperm is directly injected into the uterus. Dr. Ambler offers IUI to a wider range of patients than other clinics as part of our unique approach to fertility. IUI is less invasive than IVF and is often the first option for patients struggling with both male and female factor infertility.
